The Rainbow Bridge
(Click the title above for a flash presentation of the Rainbow Bridge)

These are our loved and cherished friends that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

K.C.

KC was with us for about 16 years. A very loving friend that will always be loved and remembered.
I got Grappa when I was in 6th grade in Italy. She lived with us for over 24 years. You could not find a more loving cat. It was an honor to share in her life.

Grappa

(with my father, Pappy who crossed that Bridge as well, in March of 05. A genuine hero who served our country in three wars. I miss you Dad.)

Rocky Rocky came into our lives and captured our hearts. He was the recipient of lots of affection from our family and our Persian mix, Kisses. We miss him very much.
Kisses I miss our little Kisses so very much. She was taken by a difficult disease much to soon. She will always live with us in our hearts.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal who has been especially close to someone dies, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

Animals who were ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them from days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one thing: they miss someone very special to them; the person they left behind.

All of the animals run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…

"I'm Still Here"

I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep I could see that you were crying and found it hard to sleep. I purred to you so softly, as you brushed away a tear.

"It's me, I haven't left you,I'm fine, I'm well, I'm still here."

I was close to you at breakfast..
I watched you make your tea. You were thinking of the many times
your hand reached down to touch me.

I gently put my paw on you,
I smiled and said.. "It's me ... I'm never far away ... I'm still here"

You sat there very quietly, then you smiled, you knew.  The day is over, I smile, you yawn, and say,
"Goodnight ... God Bless, see you in the morning."

When the time is right for you to cross the brief divide I'll rush to greet you...we'll stand side by side.. I have so many things to show you.. There is so much for you to see.. be patient ... live your journey out.. and then, come home to me..
